Qualifications

I bought my first astrology book in 2019. Then, I had a long way to go in my studies of astrology, although study never ends, not really. There is always more to learn and I gladly do so.

I dabbled in cookbook astrology until I found Chris Brennan’s Astrology  Podcast on YouTube. Watching his video on the planets and signs pulled me deeper into the world of astrology around the time my daughter was born—both of these events were a lucky strike of my Jupiter Return. In 2022, I began a more extensive self-study journey, making my way through Chris Brennan’s Hellenistic Astrology: The Study of Fate and Fortune as well as both volumes of Demetra George’s Ancient Astrology: In Theory and Practice.

I learnt a lot during this time. I can never get enough of books, fiction or non-fiction, but in 2024 I decided to bring my study to the next level. The end of my university days was approaching, I was about to write my bachelor’s degree in sinology soon—a comparison of Western and Chinese astrology—and by then, the idea of becoming an astrologer had settled in my mind.

During this time, I stumbled onto Heather Eland’s YouTube channel and registered for the Cosmic Academy of Astrology. I finished the course in July 2025 as well as Marie O’Neill’s Astrology StoryTelling course at Kepler College. Since then, my study of astrology has come full circle. I am now widening my horizons with books yet again, but am still on the lookout for the next course should the times align.
